Past lessons of social distancing

The president is hankering to end this social distancing stuff because he’s worried about the economy and the election later this year. Ending it would be a mistake, as has been seen in the past.

Check out this graph from the 1918 flu epidemic, where school closures were ended, and bans on public gatherings ended. Cases spiked shortly after.
