45 days on lockdown in China

Both a summary of the course of the virus, and a personal narrative of a university professor of his life in Chengdu China during their lockdown. Chengdu is in Sichuan province, a couple provinces to the West of Hubei, where Wuhan is located.

The author talks about evolving social norms, particularly the use of masks, and how everyone turned inward. Most of the insight into his neighbors came from the deliveries left by their doors.
